Fall 2026 cohort

Unlocking Arabic

A practical foundation in Qur'anic Arabic built around three classical primers on syntax and morphology — grammar taught for one purpose: so a student can begin to open the Qur'an and classical texts and read them directly, not just about them.

What He Learns

Working through three Arabic primers and concluding with the celebrated Ajurrumiyyah, students build the basics of grammar and morphology — enough literacy to begin approaching the Qur'anic corpus directly.

By the End

By the end, a student should be able to understand basic sentences, perform a grammatical breakdown, and explain the reasons for inflection and the category of each word.

How It's Taught

A room, not a recording

Live, not recorded

Online, live cohort. He shows up to a real class, with a real teacher, at a real time — and can ask a question the moment he has one.

8 students maximum

Small enough that nobody drifts to the back of the room. His teacher knows whether he understood, because there is nowhere to hide.

Taught by Irslan Ahmad

The same teacher, every week, start to finish — not a rotating bench and not a stand-in. Continuity is most of what makes a class work.
